FROZEN GREEK YOGURT AND BERRY GRANOLA BARKS

Ready to beat the blazing summer heat? Ditch the ice cream bars and substitute with these yummy refreshing and nutritious granola bars! They are high in protein, low in carbohydrates and super crunchy to keep you nibbling in excitement 🙂 plus they are raw! It just keeps getting better.

Recipe:

2 cups organic plain and fat free greek yogurt (i used liberte)
1 1/2 cup chopped berries (I used strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries
1/2 cup chopped almonds
3/4 cup trail mix of choice (I used gluten free rolled oats, pumpkin seeds, and pecans)
1/4 cup organic 71% dark chocolate Chips (I used camimo)

Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

Line a baking pan with parchment paper.

Spread yogurt mixture into the pan.

Cover with plastic wrap and place in the freezer until frozen.

Remove from freezer and let it thaw for 5 minutes before cutting it into bars.

Consume! Preserve remaining bars in an air tight container and return to the freezer. These keep for about 2 weeks.
