I know, weird combination of flavours eh? but it works! It’s creamy with the right amount of sweetness, no added sugars, and a great post workout snack. I whipped up a batch last night so I would be able have one after my workout this morning, and it was deliciously creamy 🙂


I find this treat a very convenient and healthy way to get your post workout protein when you don’t have time to make a post workout protein smoothie or meal, so they are literally a grab and go! Enjoy 🙂

Recipe: modified from

1 cup lite coconut milk (I used Thai Kitchen)
1 organic navel orange
1/2 a small organic avocado
1/4 cup water
1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I used Sun Warrior and it was delicious! 16g of protein per scoop)
2 organic medjool dates
1 tsp lemon juice (squeezed from lemon)
1/2 tsp organic pure vanilla extract

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour the mix into a popsicle mould and freeze overnight.

When ready, let popsicles sit at room temperature for 10-15 minutes or until the popsicles can easily pop out of the mould.
